I hope I’m wrong, but I can't help but to think that the end of the year is going to be reserved for massive restructuring on multiple levels. What direction could such a restructure go in, and what parts of the company are most likely to be affected by such a restructure, if it were to happen?

Mod 75 rule for retirement benefits:

Hang on until they push you out. I got pushed out end of March 2019. Took my 6mo pay, cancelled my home phone and internet. Moved it to Comcast since I won't do AT&T ever again. If you live in Illinois and get pushed out look up WIOA (Illinois placement training "Free") My pay at AT&T was very good but the retirement was lacking. If you don't make the mod rule 75 you get screwed. If you are at AT&T and have lots of certifications and are more than about 3yrs from Mod 75 I would say look for another job. You can find good paying jobs with better work life than AT&T. Remember................you are replaceable and my guess is you will be replaced prior to Mod 75. ((My High Horse attitude, look at me..............over 20yrs with AT&T up and vanished like a fart in the wind. They dumped me like yesterdays trash))

Not a bad idea......Execs may do a better job with decision making if they get a magic 8 ball or use tea leaves......
