Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

when the dome cracks...

Recently, a friend of mine tried to convince me that the new AT&T YOUR WOLD DELIVERED, is a story of good versus evil, a simplistic fable of light triumphing over dark, and that Tolkien liked to write in black and white morality.

The promise of destruction hovers constantly over AT&T'S management decisions, in particular the T-Mobile deal, one the six major battles against common sense. Three ended with devastating losses, one is a temporary victory that ends in the acquisition of DirecTV, and one causes the aforementioned destruction of half a continent, with Time Warner Inc. merger.

AT&T EVIL EMPIRE is locked in a constant struggle against good, and that victory is far from inevitable and always temporary. Nonetheless, the fight is still necessary and worthwhile IN HIS EYES. Even in the face of futility, AT&T'S Management..... even if it is all a part of “the GREAT long defeat,” welcome home Randall

Dude. Leave Tolkien out of this, you’re besmirching his good name. AT&T is based on Dilbert, not Norse prose.
