What does “BICI” stand for?

Accenture will begin meeting with supervisors in the MCCLEARY team on 10/21. The "knowledge transfer" to Accenture will begin on 11/4. The FBO BICI team job "functions" are moving to Accenture. NO AT&T management employees are moving to Accenture. Managers will be informed as to whether, or not, they will be "retained" by AT&T, or receive their 60 day surplus notice at the end of October. No one seems to be clear as to what "retained" actually means. Retained to train Accenture on their work and then surplussed? That would be my guess. I am part of this group. Prior to this post I've not heard any rumors about being required to go to India to train replacements. It was my assumption that Accenture people will gather job knowledge here and they will train the offshore people eventually doing the work. We were told Accenture will be going to Bedminster and Atlanta - but the BICI team is in other areas of the country as well and we don't know how that's going to play out. Apparently Accenture believes the knowledge transfer should be completed in 3 weeks! Good luck to all.

Its McCleary.. and the functions that will be retained is so vague that it could be anyone. All you can do is wait until last week of October to know. Good luck.

Does anyone know what type of work is targeted to move to Accenture I.e. customer interfacing Management jobs, application support, etc. It’s difficult for employees because we all care about AT&T. Hold on to family and faith during this difficult time. On our last days on earth we won’t look back and wish we had worked a few more years.
