Pretty sure his point is that worrying doesn’t accomplish or solve anything. If you feel your job is in jeopardy , prepare for the eventuality. Stressing yourself out with worry isn’t helpful to you or your family. Is it really the end of your world if you lose your job at att? There’s other jobs out there. Be grateful for what truly matters. Your family , their health, your health and having friends. Try telling someone who has cancer to feel sorry for you.
What group are the extended workers in?
Supposed to be off payroll 9-23 but was extended for 2 months into November.

Don't worry? Is someone magically going to pay my mortgage? Someone going to pay for my kids food and clothing? Am I going to get free food? Something tells me you either aren't in a position that is getting cut quarterly or you have a second source of income and losing your job wouldn't be life effecting. A bit hard to put on a happy face when you don't know if you'll have a job in a month for years straight.
