Inside Tech jobs

Just wondering if theys any inside tech jobs that can't be outsourced? We responsible for running tests on lines from our computer, and routing tickets to other departments.

The only inside techs are Central Office techs.
You may heave the title, it you’re a clerk.
No offense intended, but you are not a tech sitting in a cubicle.

Give me a few minutes, and I write some code to automate your job

"running tests on lines from our computer, and routing tickets to other departments" can be done from anywhere, you can be outsourced.

Also consider if your job can be automated or done by a contractor. Randy's got a lot more tricks up his sleeve than just sending our jobs to Slovakia or India.

Any job can be outsourced.

Look at our fleet personnel: Outsourced.
Real estate techs: Outsourced.
Installation of new cellular NEs: Outsourced.

Semantics. If your job is moved anywhere with a overall reduction in force it could be considered outsourcing because the results are the same. Does it really make a difference in your personal situation if your job is consolidated to Ohio and you become unemployed?

I would not think your job could be outsourced since you have special technical training, but I am not sure.
