The forced relocation is all part of the game plan folks. How does one reduce headcount at the same time reduce cost tot he business? Natural attrition......
They don't have the money for a mass relocation or mass severance to fire and replace workers in Atlanta. When they tired to move AVP and above to Dallas or El Segundo a few years ago the take rate was only about 35%. They lost a lot of quality people with that stunt. When people leave voluntarily, they will hire for those positions in Dallas.
The gave JVB mobility marketing and she’s in Dallas and she’s their go-to ice queen who has no fear of handing our surplus letters to our best and brightest if they don’t relocate. We’ve already lost some of the best minds in Atlanta due to Davey Chriztofers bungling of the El Segundo move. If you’re in Atlanta and you’re marketing, update your resume and send to TMobile and Xfinity and give your talents a whirl at companies that are growing customers instead of saddling them with scam bundles like protection, DTV NOW and Next Up. Kind of like the “merger” with the West back in the day. CEO came in and all the corporate jets had been moved to the SW. Going to happen at some point. Surprised it hasn’t happened yet. Especially the big shots. If I am not mistaken Wireless is still headquartered there. Just don’t see the largest part of the company not being in downtown Dallas.
More details please. Last I’d heard Atlanta was still a strategic hub.
