WF is just trying to get an arse (albeit, a very expensive arse) in the chair. Period.
He won't last long. He knows it. WF knows it. Wall Street and govt. know it. Why would he move when he's just in it for a quick buck?
This is all a game to them. Shuffle things around, smoke and mirrors, dog and pony shows. You name the metaphor, it likely fits. Everyone knows how the game works.
Employees without bloated parachutes lose. They lose jobs, health benefits, perhaps even non-guaranteed severance (see plethora of BE comments)...and, more importantly, they lose confidence, motivation and TRUST, when they need to muster it most for a job search during an economic downturn.
Is anyone honest , ethical or moral anymore?
