I don't think they can function in the real world outside of AT&T and thus have zero insight into what customers want. Step outside of your 1% world AT&T Leadership Nerds. Your chemistry over the years has done nothing but brewed a toxic employees don't give a hoot and customers literally hate you and everything you do and stand for.

Who's counting the bean counters? They ain't doin too good of a job.
1ebw hit the nail on the head. Company is being run py people who just look at metrics and spreadsheets.
The problem is that you have a high tech company, but it is run by accountants and MBAs who don't have a clue about technology and outsource everything to people who supposedly do. Oftentimes they don't.

SVPs are shuffled around to reassess organizational headcount from the previous leadership. It also inserts a disconnected fresh set of eyes/individual/SVP for the next surplus.
