Sambar has been promoted to the role of executive VP, AT&T Technology Operations, responsible for both wireless and wireline network planning, investment, engineering, construction and operations for AT&T’s consumer, business and government customers. His role as senior vice president for the FirstNet program at AT&T will be filled by Jason Porter.
the fact that these layers can be reshuffled so easily and so frequently mean that these 2 steps in the ladder should be removed.
Thanks to the new wireless ads, someone told me "AT&T, the OK Network company?" Oops, good thing we are not banking on becoming an ad company.

Honestly its time to go. CDO is now just tech dev and all that comes with it. It will be less than a year before CDO is outsourced to INFOSYS.

Anyone notice how many names have "Chief" in the title? There are Chief's reporting to other Chiefs. That's a normal part of corporate governance anywhere else that I've seen. Is this just a mechanism to add a few bucks to position? Recall the old phrase, too many chiefs and not enough Indians? It's looking like that originated at this company.

Lots of consumer and business announcements today under the communication organization. Both organization moves and title changes for upper management. Many "retirements" as well.
When was it announced ?
What does that mean, is it just a shuffling of the deck chairs or are we throwing some of them overboard?
