Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

So now we are not selling DirecTV?

For as long as our leadership is consistent in its decisions, I guess... face/palm

Selling DIRECTV Would not do anything for the company. Why get rid of a bunch of low cost customers who send money every month? Trust me , they have a strategic plan for that service. They still hold lots of customers who can't be served with wires or LTE.

our area manager is writing up sales reps in stores for not demoing directv even if they have already hit their numbers for that month. I am at 200 % and I was just given a warning. So how will this hold up with the union / firing process when it comes down to it ? Do we have any logic left in this company ?

We're a high tech company.... We're getting rid of the archaic switched dial tone but we're full steam ahead on satellite TV, DDS, and copper T1s....and we're only putting fiber service to a select number of customers...

No one is going to buy DTV - Stankey is the person who should be investigated for mismanagement and the destruction of AT&T and lives of hardworking AT&T employees. He should go to jail!

T has decided to keep the DTV Satellite Fleet after realizing that by implanting micro-receivers into people heads that we can then do Direct-to-Consumer Streaming.
