FBO POLL

FBO POLL QUESTIONS:

  1. If you have been notified your position is going to Accenture, what date were you given that you will you receive your 60 day written notice?
  1. If you were told your position will not go to Accenture, what were you told is your new responsibilities after your function's employees are outsourced?
  1. Does your Director/AVP communicate they think this outsourcing will be successful?

Just curious what others are being told. I am not surplused but have not been told what my responsibilities are once the function I support is outsourced to Accenture. Also, my boss says he doesn't believe Accenture can handle these responsibilities in our function.

As part of a scripted announcement, our VP (Weakland) stated that everyone was releasable. Although we are also hearing that folks are going to be released late next year, no one HAS to stay that long. It actually feels like a risk to the company, as many folks may choose to leave/move before any knowledge transfer—but of course we will and should look out for ourselves first.

Additionally, in many cases of outsourcing, the work is often given back years later. We've seen this in many cases and this may also happen with Accenture.

We have been told in the finance/collection department that we are merging with customer care. I’m assuming we reps will be outsourced to accenuture.

Some are finding jobs in parts of finance outside of FBO. It sounded like some of these weren't actual job reqs initially. Haven't heard of anyone going to Tech Dev or any part of ATO.

@11XrqTwl-aks “Lots of people are finding new jobs inside the company.“

Any idea where all these jobs are that folks are moving to?

Part of Berger org. Our date is late 3Q2020. Small number of second levels were retained. We don't have a schedule or even a date to start training Accenture.

Lots of people are finding new jobs inside the company. It's rumored that their release is contingent on assisting with the transition next year after they have already moved on.

I expect that they will stop releasing people or require ridiculous extended leave dates at some point.

We have zero contact with Berger other than the scripted calls. All supervisors are being really careful right now because they want to find jobs for as many people as they can. It's my impression that Berger can be quite vindictive. Actions speak louder than words.
