To clarify, I say subpar outsourced workforce as the T employees being outsourced have a short lived shelf life once outsourced, hence the one year contract they are given when outsourced......

To Post ID: @11XLxyc4-1pun - WHO SAID "It's easy to think they got rid of you while you were doing a good job, when logic tells you either you weren't doing a job they need or someone else is willing to do it cheaper. That's not really a good job, cause just think of your own buying habits and tell me you don't avoid buying things you don't need, and don't ultimately go for the cheapest deal? who said "

MY COMMENT:
Personally my buying habits are: When I can I buy American. I also buy quality; I don't look for the cheapest deal as the cheapest deal is generally not the best quality...…Hence your post is presumptuous and illogical. Also, AT&T is suppose to charge more right as we provide superior quality as we are continually told...….You can not provide superior quality if using subpar outsourced workforce...

Try not to let it get to you. I left on my own and there a lot better companies with more pay and better benefits. Att is not normal been two places since I left and haven’t heard the word lay-off or surplus one day since I left. It had been awesome.

Wasted 20 years? What company did you get hired in on, cause if you weren't with SBC from day 1 then your comments are kind of absurd since your original company went under. A sane person might figure 20 years is great. It's easy to think they got rid of you while you were doing a good job, when logic tells you either you weren't doing a job they need or someone else is willing to do it cheaper. That's not really a good job, cause just think of your own buying habits and tell me you don't avoid buying things you don't need, and don't ultimately go for the cheapest deal?

Many regret working for T for too long. T is not a leader and the wages, benefits, promotion opportunities are all behind leadimg technical companies out there. Take the optimistic view that T shoved you out to find a better opportunity that you should have been out looking for 10 years ago. Yes you are right the company and their upper management is c-ap

You put in 20 years as a loyal employee then thrown out unexpectedly like garbage while doing a good while you expected to end your career here. If you step back, look around you will realize your mistake in thinking this company was good as wages are low, benefits poor, opportunities in the field scarce under this old world landline id–ts like Stephenson, Stankey, and those under them

Read the ARS Technica article from 5/19 about AT&T. It’s all you need to know how the C-suite & Board are taking your tax dollars while laying off employees. Over 23,000 so far.

This is in spite of their lobby promises.

Wasted 20+ years? More like you wasted 20+ years of wages if you feel the employment was for nothing.

I’m grateful to have been employed for so long to pay off home, cars, and student loans.

Yes, there are a bunch of employees that won't recover. It's not fun working for a troubled company

It's inexcusable for randy to keep collecting big bonus checks every year and still have a job while either cutting or off-shoring 30 percent of the workforce. Why anyone has any respect for this clown and all of his lies in the business world is beyond me.

I know the feeling. For no performance reason we are let go after years of above average performance

Money isn’t my god!

Haven’t you heard of purpose, passion, dedication, honor and treating people as human beings not indentured servitude.

Work/Life balance matters except, for the sycophants and people in the disconnected bubble called executives. Greed and uncaring attitudes are terrible things. God help our country!
