This restructuring provide Verizon the ability to reduce the CS workforce by making all CS employees be trained in all business segments. With the continued closings of call centers Nationwide and moving most if not all to Home Base Agents (HBA) real estate expenses will be reduced, and redundant positions will ultimately be eliminated.
