I am hearing anywhere numbers between 1500 to 2500 employees notified last Friday. From what I hear none of those have been transferred Accenture. It seems nearly the whole of Billing Ops wipes out, only salvaging those management titles tied to Occupational employees. Bargaining is next year. Any info on what’s planned for those not on last weeks call? Are the affected numbers we are hearing accurate?

Without a doubt of those chosen to stay most were chosen out of favoritism. Very few of those kept were high level performers with key/rare skills. Many of the highly skilled were released!! Looks like it paid to be a brown noser ..... at least for now
The retained group is most interesting... We can't figure out the rhyme or reason, there are only a couple people where everyone says, "Oh yeah, you have to keep THEM!" The rest seem to be on the friends and family plan.
Span of control is gonna get real interesting unless Marberger group starts sharing the 160+ offshore Accenture contractors currently parked under them in Webphone.
Our AVP in Chicago told us 1300 domestic employees were offshored to Accenture. It is obvious that only a very few single contributors were kept and no one knows of any people managers at L2 or L3 levels who were surplused. What those not surplused will do no one knows including them. They must be wondering if they will be gone in a year as well
I believe there are currently about 1300 domestic FBO employees, so figures of 1500 to 2500 being surplused is exaggerated. I don't know the numbers informed on last Friday's calls, but I am one and in the first group to go. What I found VERY interesting is that people at 2nd and 3rd levels are being retained - even though the managers they manage at the first level are going. What, exactly, will these folks be doing if their direct reports are all gone?
