I gotta say that there is a lot of hate from the wireless and management people on this site. Don’t understand why people don’t scroll passed something that doesn’t affect them and only post constructive ideas/thoughts. With that being said, after I take this latest eisp, I’m using some of my downtime to come back here and bash every thread that has to deal with wireless and management threads. Looking forward to feeding your hate.

7vig - There are less and less people every year. The company doesn't have to offer anything unless it needs to get the head count down quickly. They can just as easily wait you out and you'll leave on your own. I don't judge others for taking an offer because there might not be one in the future. Chances are there will be one. How big or small no one knows. But if it is your time to go, then go. If not, then wait. Take what you can get.

10k is nothing, considering first of year you get that in vacation pay. So you’re quitting a 100k dollar a year job for 50 or 60 k dollars spread out over 4 years. Your a financial wizzard. Don’t be stupid.
NJ CWA received offer today $2200 year, $10,000 bonus. Starting date for offer Nov 11, ends December 10th. Off payroll December 21st

Rumors, fake posts, regardless...anything to be offered officially and recieved, 22nd is latest. Then wait to next year and start rumors again, and again until one day someone can say " see, I told you" . 22nd would be latest. Want one? Contact Hans. 2 weeks left so any presumed off date would be before Decembers end.
I can tell you if you accept the package start working on it right away. Their are a lot of hoops to just threw with snail mail and hundreds of papers to flip thru advising you to speak to a lawyer or lawyers. It’s very shady the way it’s done and nobody will seem to know wth is going on. Get all the numbers you’ll need before leaving and handing in your phone because you’ll need them for your endless phone calls following up to see what the next step is. They’ll drag it out until you’ll have missed the deadline even if you’ve accepted the package. Beware.

A straight up RIF is 2 weeks per year capped at 35 weeks and STI is prorated for time worked and paid at 67% of target. Corp profit share, likewise is prorated for time worked. If you think that's a good deal, go for it.

Frontier j communications ust made offer to buy our wireline assets in north east said it is best deal they ever made ..so I dont know how that's going to affect our buyouts or pension but I think it should be good deal for us they have top notch upper management that can turn around the wireline side.and pretty sure there buying coal mining companies too

The offer is in final stages. Problem is with temps. It should be out by 11-18.
If anything have less than 3 weeks, need to align off date and allotted time not to exceed dec 31st, any rumor I heard was limited, to certain areas, so if it's all over the place, prob nothing factual. Would have to be announced before 22nd, after that, that's it.
