Now that the big battle is over and all these changes are coming, does anybody actually believe things will improve for and at AT&T?

ATT is a terrible place to work. Don't work there and tell everyone you know to avoid the place. It's awful.

I’m calling BS, I don’t know any 22 year old kid that thinks they will be at the same job their entire career.
I might be the oddball but , I actually have a form of hope !! Now that Big Randy is being pushed out , it shows that they acknowledge his way of doing things (ie surplusing the talent due to UPPER MANAGEMENT failures ) buying too much with the company’s money , and having a clueless , or nonchalant board was something that NEEDED to be changed ! Since they finally ARE BLAIMING Randall and upper management for the bs, I have hope they will turn this around with some educated people for a change . Elliot had some great points and you can see they made him a puppet for our holdings info . I’m all for it and feel I have a better chance now than I did before they got involved .

Looks like they added three more years to the chronic layoff schedule, outsourcing and restricting.
I got one year left ....it may feel like a decade before it’s over! I am so DONE with this place I could puke.
In essence Elliot looks to be getting 2 seats on the Board. There will be a massive restructuring next year-All players on this one are at risk.
No. Until upper management fantasy land is out the door, and replaced by common sense, in touch with reality leaders are in charge nothing is going to change.
Nope, I doubt anyone does. Every single employee I talk to , regardless if they are management or craft , are either fearful for their job or miserable being here. No one seems to think they have a long term future here. I envy those that are close to retirement. I have another 25 years to go to retirement age and that’s if I’m lucky.
