Shrinking Employee Count

According to Dallas business Journal staff writer Brian Womack wrote today 10\28\2019:

“Already, AT&T's been shrinking its employee count, helping trim costs. At the end of the last quarter, it had about 252,000 workers, down from 269,000 year over year.”

The offset is an increase of contractors from the likes of IBM, Accenture, and others. And they're not coming cheap. Without the numbers of contractors available, it's hard to see whether or not AT&T is becoming more efficient. Lack of efficiency was one of Elliott's complaints.

People have feelings, except of those on the top who give s–it for others not equal to them. Those on the top think money only for themselves. Those on the top screwed up lives of many normal, common people working to meet-ends-meet, who worked for this c–p company for many years, and especially being 50+. It is very sad story.
