American Tower, Crown Castle, and Sba Comm took from AtT, Vz, S, and Tmus and built a $185B market cap. In 10-15 years as a result of the current AtT slaughterhouse you will see someone take atts cast offs and turn it into $50-$100B businesses. You will see the cast odds from time Warner develop successful content machines. The leadership at ATT are experts in the ATT and Washington legal cultures. They can't adapt, adjust, build, foster, or compete. I have zero faith in Stankey or Stevenson or any of their directs to implement anything forward looking or innovative. They have had years to get a streaming product ready and in plain publiculic view are stumbling, slipping, and c-apping the bed.

Imagine how many jobs could have been saved if AT&T bought Tivo instead of trying to copy all of Tivo's features n our own platform.
We could have been true OTT, using data from streaming video usage to gather info to setup more ads. We could have used the Tivo packet sniff home networks traffic, gathering more info than Facebook and Google. Instead, we are playing catch up because we didn't have a good vision.
Yeah I love how randy Stephenson and Stankey have praised att tv as “innovative” just because it has the ability to search by voice. Uh, Comcast, Apple, Amazon and others have all been doing this with tv for years. How stupid do they think the world is ? The audacity it takes to claim “innovation” when they innovated or invented nothing. Incredible.
Randy and his band of "leaders" as smart as they pretend to be, for years sat on the datacenters owned by the company and ended up discarding them, missing the opportunity to be the aws or azure of the world.
Evidently they lack the tech skills to develop new data products; instead spent billions chasing the so called transformation into a tv player, where they feel more at ease with..... newsflash, just because they can push buttons on a remote control...does not mean you are a tv industry leader.
