The entire C-suite played a role in the destruction of a once great company. Perhaps some more than others but not one of them can be said to be an innocent bystander. Don't feel sorry for any of them. They will all make out well when forced out. The big club takes care of its own. Save your compassion for people further down the food chain. The need it and, more importantly, deserve it.
At least the Union workers can get severance or option of SIPP if laid off. How’s outsourcing or rebadging working for non-union management?
To all you Union folk...don't be jelly...you voted and accept what you have today. Two huge contracts were just voted in yes— despite not addressing increase the SIPP plan....even though knowing more lay offs are coming. Look around at your peers and grasp the truth ......dumb
I wonder how many of the people that trash Donovan ever met the man and actually spoke with him at any length? I find it curious that he gets zero respect, even though he clearly chose to leave the company as he was no longer in alignment with the strategic direction and/or the rest of the executive leadership team...

Does anyone actually believe that a person who ran a large portion of one of the largest corporations in America would walk out with half of their supposed “base” salary unless it was in handcuffs? Understand the emotions behind the comments but it just doesn’t happen like that in our corporate worlds. Thing is that this is just the lump sum. Probably has a lifetime pension that will more than equal that in a few years.
Donovan wasn't even Randy's favorite, I wonder how much of a "Thank you" Stanky will get when Elliot gets him (rightly) pushed out? I'm sure Randy will get a nice $30m + package for his dedication to the company too.
Meanwhile, thousands have been told that they're still needed (for retraining), but no longer valued by the company & 'rebadged' for later outsourcing.
And some of you wonder why more & more people are starting to view socialist policies as a better solution.
What ever was in his employment contract. I'm pretty sure most of that is stock, not cash.
I love it when people worship those who treat them like kleenex. If JD got that much for being a failure wonder what he would have got if he actually did something to grow the company.

@vvx his salary (base pay) was reportedly $1,175,000. This is what six months base pay should be calculated from, not overall compensation.
