Yes, it is a sad scene. However, I am busier then ever now and doing the job of 3 due to downsizing. My normal 9- 10 hours a day is now 12-14.... Glad I am busy as do not have time for water cooler chit chats about the state of things as it is too depressing.
Well the I am union with high seniority but not rule of 75 yet.
I pray they come for my job.
We have had Sipp only offered once and that was last year.
After the horrible contracts the unions for each district let through, CWA does what AT&T tells it to do.

At this point, with all the wild major changes, if you're still left standing, and not dealing with being outsourced, surplus, or lucky enough to have an MVO offer, then you really are just collecting a check, as there is nothing to work on. Aside from meaningless busy work, seems most projects are stopped, or if still funded no one monitoring progress and milestones, as who cares there is too much else to worry about. Everyone is walking around waiting for the other shoe to drop. Folks just check email and the water cooler for the latest bad news about the status of their employment. It's this way directly due to bad management.
