I am already a victim of the c-suite depravity. I say bring on Elliott and slash everyone from my old L3 right up the ladder to the top. Along with their minions.
Elliot is being a pain in the a$$ with Marathon Petroleum. Similar demands, wants them to spin-off Speedway. Elliot just wants to loot the company for a quick profit and move on, by reducing the workforce.
Elliot will divest the businesses that are too competitive for T to be in. T's been old school creating a conglomerate when other companies are focusing on what they do really well. Yet T will probably stay in media and you'll get to watch him on the new 24x7 program: "Randal's Favorite Ways to Spend Millions of Dollars."
Elliot just wants to loot the company for a quick profit and move on. He has no interest in staying on this sinking ship. Sorry, but it ooks like you're stuck with Randallstank.

Elliot doesn't want that. They will gain a seat or two on the Board. Some of there "suggestions" will be implemented, stock will go up and they will cash out and move on. Elliot bought into E-Bay on January 22 of this year. The CEO has just stepped down due to disagreement with the direction Elliot is fighting for. E-Bay stock is up almost 20% for the year.
Careful what you wish for...Elliott would slash workforce much more.
