Anyone hear of any management layoffs (ATO) around Birmingham?

The WARN Report does not show outsourcing. Outsourcing is the new layoff. No severance, no unemployment, and you are frozen, i.e. can't look for a job in another group or org. And since you are getting a job with the Outsourcing company, typically same location and around 90% or more of the same compensation, you have no damages for a lawsuit, age, race or any other discrimination. They say they will keep you on at least a year so the statute of limitation for a wrongful termination lawsuit expires.
The Alabama WARN Report showing required notifications of layoffs had one entry way back in 2017 of 134 Birmingham layoffs. Nothing more recent than that.

We’re in the process of finalizing numbers for the field (TFS & IEFS) once the merger has had some time to soak. We’re looking at seeing announcements in Jan or Feb. Managers, Area Managers, and Directors will increase the numbers of direct reports they have.
