Should I assume I'll be better off as Accenture has very little messages on this board and they do have 400,000 people working for them?

Accenture, Tech M and IBM all know the only way to make profit on these deals is to get rid of the ex-ATTers. Best thing is to understand that you are no longer an ATT employee and start making plans for your next career. The past 5+ years have been awful at T. All of my ex colleagues landed on their feet and are much happier now. Don't undervalue your skills by staying with this awful company.
I went to IBM, listen to the HR meetings, no matter what they say it's clear from HR we are here for 1 year. Hope it's different for you.
Start putting your resume out their while you still have a job and benefits.

Accenture doesn't layoff? Are you for real? Maybe you are talking about their base hired employees not contractors. Accenture lays contractors/consultants all the time if not enough work....An assumption is those outsourced to them may hold a different status...Probably similar to IBM deal as one will get a contract for a year.....just assuming....hopefully I am wrong.
