Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Glassdoor reviews - look padded lately like subscriber numbers?

For those that do not know, glassdoor is a website where employees and even interviewees can leave anonymous reviews and even enter compensation info so people can see real numbers. Also it is a good place to look for job openings.

WIth all the layoffs and outsourcing going on, negative press, etc and the overall rating trend has been downward to 3.3 out of a total of 5 stars. Yet lately there seem to be an influx of 5 star reviews about what a great place AT&T is to work at. Not sure what can account for this statistical anomaly, especially when the last ENPS numbers were so poor.

Yes, ratings are probably older...back in 2011, 2012, 2013 folks were praising Randall....fall from grace.

I submitted a one star review and I could never find it again. so who knows what happened to it. I don't put much stock in those reviews they are rigged. notice the majority of companies are in the 3's with the occasional 4. so they are pretty useless.

OP here, so there it is. Don't need a PhD in data science, mathematics and machine learning to see that something was up. Hopefully more people will give reviews and tell it like it really is.
Maybe the people at the Employee Group conference don't know that they outsource and layoff the Employee Group officers as well and once they do you can no longer be an officer in a group.

There it is - they're padding the ratings. Most anyone who's going to shell out their own money and time for a company thing like the erg conference is going to say things are great.

Also, does there seem to be an influx of pro-company posts and upvotes here to anyone else all of a sudden?

Just went to look at that site. 21,355 reviews, 51% approve of Randall, I would guess that number comes from over the past 10 years.

AT&T’s overall compensation package is pretty good as long as you understand it’s not a “cradle to grave” job.

I just started a scathing review and decided against it. You have to sign in/up to do so and I wouldn't want to risk the man finding out who I am and retaliating.
