Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Direct TV Now lawsuit...

The coverage on this is spreading like wildfire. There are 17 confidential witnesses that I assume may have already given depositions in in this case. All former employees I believe. From sales reps to sales managers. A product developer, a lead financial analyst, an assistant VP of sales and a regional director of sales operations. And these folks are not just in a single region. All over. SOURCE: Arstechnica.com

I recently retired while working at ATT. I also worked on many of the iterations of our streaming services. These inflated DTVN numbers were common knowledge for quite a few people, so I assumed this information was more then common knowledge. The beatings shall continue until morale improves.

The CEOs sign off on all SOX controls that financial and statistical public reporting is accurate. Investors were misled by AT&T reporting and hopefully all those signing off plus those entering false data are criminals and should face punishment as well as the corporation

So blatant that even employees joke about this on Instagram.

The next scandal will be NextUp, the $5 feature that RSCs couldn’t add, so they updated OPUS to make it automatically add to the customer bill. Betcha Shay signed off on that one too!

Something this big was not the act of a few bad apples. This was a full on directive from those up above..

My question is, if it was a directive who is joing to jail? Seeing how this is essentially fraud and theft in a scale of millions.

The need to subpoena the text messages, emails and group me messages of all retail employees. Every market had 100s of employees fired at the end of 2018 but few VPGM suffered any repercussions
