Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

A rapid loss of customers is unfortunately our reality

Almost everyone I know, my family, friends, neighbours are dumping AT&T services and turning towards the competing companies. I am scared to even think about the rate in which customers are leaving on the national level. No wonder they don’t have the guts to admit that AT&T is losing customers left and right.

Word from the Wireless. I attempted to get an AT&T mobile phone as an employee. It failed because the store employees couldn't get there stuff together, it's a long story. So, I kept my phones on the VZN service that I've had for over 10 years. When I call VZN, I talk to a customer service rep. right here in the good ol' USA. My daughter and son in-law are leaving AT&T not because of the network but, because when they call customer service, they get someone in India they can't understand. Outsourcing will k–l our mobile business.

Loss of customers not a problem, this is a shell game. And employees and shareholders are s—ers to be used.

T is forgetting to think that employees could also be their only customers yet they're treating them like sh–. I have none of Ts service.

Randy made it Clear to customers like my 85-year-old mother that he doesn’t want to sell them phone and internet. She went to comcast. We have an entire exchange that never was upgraded to the uverse ptm service. All they have is ADSL. As people move,T is shutting off the ports to future customers. Not really the actions of a company that wants to grow its customer base. Maybe death and rebirth as something completely new is what is best for T. I really don’t see a favorable recovery as it stands today.

Customers treated even worse!... it’s embarrassing to use outside field techs!

Well no wonder. Just look at how AT&T is treating its employees, cannot expect any better when it comes to customers.
