Welcome to complaining about your pension losing 80% of it's value. You can now join the rest of us who already lost 80% of our pension when they moved us to a cash balance account. And you are still doing better than those who get hired now with no pension. You're just now catching up to how the other side lives. Thanks for not saying anything when that all went down over the last 20 years. Now you expect us to throw a fit for you?

I am a domestic area manager that works with Bratislava often. Let me tell you this. They are high quality, good people, good employees. Way better than average. They deserve their positions, just like we do. This finance outsourcing change is very unfortunate for all of us. I plan to stay positive, even though the pension I have been working for for over 20 years is set to lose 80% of its value when we get outsourced. I wish I had some magical words of wisdom that would make this poisonous pill easier to swallow, but I don’t. We will all find a way. Our families are counting on us. Be strong.
Except the jobs were not outsourced rather relocated to different location under AT&T shop. These jobs are being moved to completely different company. However that’s just semantics and doesn't make much difference to impacted employees. We have all been seeing similar trend with Mexico. AT&T spent years insourcing FBO functions back from outsourcing companies. Guess they no longer need loyal educated and experienced quality workforce.
