That REO cash team did basically nothing for years. I know, I’ve talked to them. They were spending days roaming the internet bored to tears. About 3 months ago they were given some other work to do.
Not sure why saying that equates to me rendering any sort of joy in their lay-off.
Most of the reo cash team has been working overtime for the past three months so to say they had no work shows your ignorance to the situation. You were probably part of the other reo team that got moved around and then laid off so you are bitter it happened to you first. All I can say is no normal human being likes to hear about people losing their jobs. It’s not something to joke about or be happy about. There were a few who didn’t get notice today but it was not announced why. This type of thing happenes in a lot of companies not just wells good luck on the job search. And good luck to the entire site which is closing in 2021.
I don’t think anyone hates them. Just of all the teams in that building, everyone including many of them, assumed they would be the first to go. Coasted for years with practically no work. Good for them getting to stick around so long and collect checks.
Why hate them?
The REO cash dept that one person on this site hates so much lol
What dept?
All of my managers just went in to a meeting as well.
60 day working notice.

Working or non-working notice?
Whose giving the notice

What time
Pre-notice is typically done 30 days in advance, so that would make sense.
