It's all a damn mess down here. No knows wtf is going on, dtv is in the sh–ter. I get the feeling the union reps gave up and dont give a sh– about anyone, especially the dtv techs. To be completely honest, alot of the techs at the dtv yard in mirimar think the union and att wants to sh– can our whole thing and save their own asses. Every day we come to work and wonder wth is going on...

That's absolutely true @1sqa. DTV techs are even lower on the union's totem pole than Prem Slaves. No one paying dues to a union should be neglected like this.
This union only works for it's good 'ole boys. Pathetic.
The union looks out for the COMPANY'S interests first. They're definitely in bed together. I know the DTV guys have a hard job, and since att bought them out, they've gotten the sh*t end of the stick.
Why do you think they never trained the DTV techs any IP work? Or combined yards? The union wants the DTV techs OUT.

Ask your local about the backroom deal they did for this to happen... Don't blame your fellow tech, blame your local. And to the guy saying to walk over and attend a meeting, because i attend those and because the union board members are like a bunch of school girls who cannot keep their mouth shut, im telling you to investigate the deal. Get back to me once you’ve learned how every tech non core is being sold out..

You guys will all be surplussed. Look around, all your dtv managers are now unemployed and you’re all next. San Diego techs and managers laugh about how big of cry baby millennials the Carrol rd yard is though, so this post doesn’t surprise me. The union hall is a block away from your yard...walk your lazy a$$es to a meeting once a month instead of crying online.

Everybody who hasn't done so already needs to be getting their finances in order. Cut out any unnecessary expenses, especially cell and cable service from this company. Pay off debts, credit cards, mortgages as best you can.
Bring your cost of living down as cheap as possible because this Titantic is sinking fast now. There have been warnings for a long time.
