We in D3 are shaking our heads. Every single time , we in D3 are coming up out of contract , D4 takes AT&T’s bait. Bunch of guppies.

All this D3-D4 contract problems is because of Iran we need to invade them and turn them to dust and everything will get back on track.

Huge issue with all Unions counting "vacant" votes as automatic "yes" votes. Speaks volumes why contracts continue to pass.

@gha we most certainly DO have forced OT in Ohio. Prems are on 6 day per week forced OT right NOW and have been for a long time.
Of course, I'm forgetting that our union doesn't consider us full technicians so we must not count.
D4 won from the company the discontinuation of the 3rd quarter surplus upon ratification. All future surplus activity is still on schedule though
I think it's hilarious that people are blaming D4 members as if this was on the up and up?? are you crazy ...I am not happy about this either but we all knew it was coming.. The contract was done and settled. As if D3 is more "militant " than d4 puhleeze. southern states??? One guy was saying boonies districts?? oh ok lol.This is the Internationals fault !! not individual districts No leadership and in the pocket of the company. We had the company with some leverage and International chooses NOT to act and represent its members!! Btw what did we gain or lose in D4 not sure BUT In Ohio WE DONT HAVE FORCED OT and kept that ...so have fun in the boonies of Miss and Fla with your forced Ot...
Inside info... have the union tell you how many “yes” votes they got from ex surplused employees..lol..
The union getting to decide what they want to tabulate non votes as is fraudulent as h#ll. This is an organization acting more as a two bit dictatorship than an honest democratic organization serving its members. Furthermore, we had a lot of techs report that they never even received ballots. So those are automatic yes votes.
Why even bother voting if the union is going to make sure to get the result they want? Or why even have a union for that matter if they meekly bend over backward as far as the company demands every time?

Such an antiquated and dumb way to do business. Get rid of all of the Unions already, long overdue.
Its a simple fix, make D3 contract end prior to D4 next time. Yes its a shorter contract but you wont get Fuuukd by D4 again.
The problem is members are not bothering to vote. So guess what. Those non votes are tabulated as yes votes. If you don’t vote , the union counts you as yes. It’s that simple.
And every single time we don’t vote down the contract either? Weird isn’t it?
