There is a Tech Dev meeting Wed, 7/31, 3rd level and above. What now?

No more separation package for anyone now. It’s a good tactic now, they will outsource us and assure us one year job instead of paying 6 month severance pay. As we loose 6 month severance means we will be working for 1 year on 6 month salary with outsourced company.
Day 2 of meetings ..... I think this is going to much more than just everybody under Summers moving to Feutsch, unless they are trying to actually figure out how that's going to work
Am I the only one at this point that's hoping they will give me the separation package already and let me go? I'm so ready;)
Be calm. The objective is to gather employee donations in order to pay for the company debt.
ATO IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO F—ED
Tech Dev had gotten too big and process oriented to innovate. Sometimes the only way to save the village is to destroy the village.
From what I heard Tech Dev is being dismantled so that the term "Technical Development" will no longer exist in the company. I'm sure more moves and surpluses are right around the corner.
The meeting is to vote on a new plan that will force the rank and file employees to donate their plasma and/or blood so that AT&T can get cash to pay for the company debt. Those who refuse will be sent immediately to IBM or Tech Mahindra (even if they escaped the last blood bath). Those who agree to help will get a certificate from Randall for a one month guarantee that they will not be included in the August outsourcing/firing/screwing exercise. Other plans to be discussed in the meeting: employees donating body parts (e.g. one kidney or parts of their liver) which is for the 4th quarter 2019. Stay tuned!
The people left behind after the IBM deal
Who is moving - just the people that have already been notified they are moving to IBM or those that were on the IBM call a couple weeks ago but not chosen to go to IBM?
What's left under Summers?
Tech dev is moving from Summers to Feutsch. That’s all the call was about. However, Feutsch is know as “the axe man.” Dude could lay-off 600 people and take a nap. Since all tech dev is going to be sold off to either Accenture or Tech Mahendra, makes sense; he’s the man to do it.
Was there a meeting this morning? Any updates please share. How bad is it?
Morning email might be more like it. Three years ago the “read a script” people came for me, it was a morning call, a “Red October” quite literally. My choice was to ‘volunteer out’ in three or hang in for six weeks and attempt to find another position.
Through hard networking, old contacts I made it back in. You might say I was crazy, I said ‘six years short of a full Pension, seven shy of Medicare.’ You don’t think it matters at age 40 or 50, another career is ready to go. At 59, age matters to the next employer.....but I digress.
The next three years I saw the pattern that morning calls were for the bad news, afternoon calls sounded the ‘all clear,’ and we were safe. It appears T’s MO has changed of late, I’d be interested in anyone’s incites or experiences.
I predict a Friday afternoon email is coming.
Good luck
