Attended seminar last week, talks were about package being offered in Q4. The flyers are up in CO across NY. They may add time to age & service to meet the number 75, also mentioned it wont be worth staying to end of contract with offer they will provide. Let's see what happens.

I heard the 4 & 4 from an dispatch fmn in NY. Heard it was coming in oct. I also heard that the one rumored in June is the same one but delayed because they had to negotiate with the union because it goes above and beyond of the eisp which is contractual adding years is not and must be approved by the Union
There is no 4 and 4 it’s just some id–t troll.

I’m in pa and outside hasn’t seen an offer in years. Only people in business office has.

In New York we are all field technicians there is no more title of Lineman splicer Etc. It goes out for field technicians in seniority basis across the board
So this is an offer for lineman only and not across the board?
Last I heard (about a month ago) they were going to make the temp linemen permanent. Then that’ll clear the way to get rid of the older employees. The temps have been here anywhere from 6 months to 1 1/2 years and they were waiting until they were trained before possibly making a eisp offer.
I am hearing that there is some back and forth between the company and the Union right now as far as making the temps permanent. My understanding is it in order to give out an eiSP you have to declare a surplus and how can you declare a surplus if you are hiring temporary employees permanent so even though the eisp is in the contract that they would have to get rid of all the temps which would leave them short-handed especially on Long Island where they are doing a ton of T&R work
That’s the plan...if they offer an eisp, I’m gone. If not, I’ll ride out four more years.
We have been hearing “credible” rumors for years ! Take the 4 year gift they gave us and stuff some money away

Heard it from the second liner...more than once. I’m not a lineman so there is no reason that he would lie to me. He may be wrong, but I’m just passing on what I’ve heard. Seemed credible as it wasn’t a friend of a friend type of rumor, but came straight from the horses mouth.
@3xya : New Jersey just had to bring linemen in from NY and PA for 6 months to do work , so I doubt they will be getting rid of linemen

I heard in NJ that they are going to have a offer for linemen only. 44 people...2 from each location. Maybe that is one of the three different offers? Heard it was going to be in the 4th quarter. 2nd liner said it came from the VP.
I think the rumors are not true. At least not in NJ. I spoke to our business agent yesterday and they have not heard of any offer coming out. Something strange is going on. There was a person in our Livingston office from some financial place stating that they have an in and there is going to be 3 different offers. Offers will be different for different titles. I never heard of that before. ??

If so they were in Livingston NJ last week where I attended. He said he had an “in” and was advised 3 packages by EOY.
