What a joke. AT&T’s mission is to inspire human progress through the power of communication and entertainment, yet the humans who drive that mission are treated inhuman when they decide they need to put more dollars in the pockets of their upper echelon and fail to humanly communicate while escorting them out the door. The only human progress they are concerned about is their own bank accounts. They could care less about the humans who have given years and sometimes decades of their lives to the company... nothing personal, it’s just business, they say.

Randy is an accountant. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but the only inspiration or creativity that he possesses is with cutting costs. That's how he made his name at SBC and got to where he is today. He thinks he has this vision of turning AT&T into an entertainment, advertising and communications empire, but he has no grasp of the fact that employees (and contractors for that matter) have to be treated with dignity and respect in order for that to work. He wants to turn AT&T into another Google, but thinks he can ignore the need to have employees that are 'bought-in' and invested in the company's vision. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.
The only thing the letters AT&T inspires is Randal's greed and incompetence.
Ask them to define the human.

- amazing part is the high expectations for the Employees (both Craft and 1st level Management) ... coming up with “...do the right thing” yet the don’t practice the mantra... The Company cheats the Employees at every opportunity...
