Verint Program

What is this Verint Program? Is it true that coaches will be able to see IM skype, computer Apps and take a screen shot? And everything we do on the humana computer?

If you do your job and aim for your metrics, you should be fine. As previous posters mentioned, reserve idle chat for your personal phone/devices. My concern with Verint is not that it records everything, but the amount of micro management of our time it allows. When I started working for Humana, I loved that they were respecting and practically honoring my degrees, my education, and my experience while rewarding it with some autonomy to get my job done within a reasonable time frame. We were exempt and although we had certain requirements (working some evenings and completing our work while meeting metrics) we had lots of flexibility. We have lost exempt status and are micromanaged to the point of practically (not literally but close) having to raise our hands and asking permission to go to the restroom like we are in elementary school. Yes, we do have some flexibility in that if we have an appointment or need, we can request to work even more evening hours to make up the time, however it's totally removed the "family first" feel they used to boasted about. They have now eliminated some project managers and shifted the project management workload to the manager levels, thus enabling even more micromanagement and scrutiny. How teams are managed varies now from manager to manager causing high levels of discrepancies between teams. Do not dare asked to be moved to another manager or you will be invited to look for a position elsewhere in the company or external to. I had more freedom working the floors of hardest med surg floors and nursing homes pushing med carts. At least then I didn't have to account for the time I ran to potty real quick. According to prior posts, If they have another layoff, I'll probably be "put to pasture" because of my age and years with the company. heh.. Family firsti guess

They can see absolutely everything you do all day long. Your screen is recorded 100% all day. It is not just when you are on a call. My coach showed me this. I saw it with my own eyes. Have no doubt, they can look at whatever you are doing, email, skype, etc. at any point in the day.

They cannot see your skype unless you have it up and visible during a call. The system captures 25% of calls with screen grabs. No one can see in your home. The system captured idle time as no mouse movement or screen movement or touching the keys. Yes the system knows what programs you are in.

"And yes, they are monitoring everything. Sadly, they are using this technology to get rid of and bully unsavory and older employees when it is time to be put out to pasture.:"
Excuse me?? put out to pasture? this is age discrimination??
This is a huge problem if you ask me. So people of what age are to be put out to pasture? They offered an early retirement for 55 years of age and 7 years of service. Age 55 is an age to be put out to pasture? A person has at least 12 more working years before they can legally retire with full compensation! This is terrible, Shame on you all!

Do you realize this is age discrimination? This is a civil right you are talking about!
Savory and older employees? How old is old enough to be put out to pasture?? Incredible....
They offered age 55 and older a severance package. There are 12 more years before you get your full retirement and what are you supposed to do? Work at fast food? You have developed a career with the company and some younger person says Move over? What causes unsavory behavior? Look in the mirror honey.

Yes, every call you make or receive on your work phone can be recorded. They also can record your screens and track absolutely every mouse click, internet browsing etc. Do your job and you'll be fine.

We start every call saying it may be monitored and recorded. We have been getting quality reviews based on our calls they listen to, and if you looked at the reviews, you would see the screen shots of what they see. Cover your camera on your computer if you’re so concerned, and do your job and there should be no problem

Been with Humana for 8 years and was told about it when hired . This is not news and is how Humana has always operated. It is their equipment etc. Why are people raising a stink? I am not trying to be rude- I just don’t understand why this is a concern? Even when I worked in a hospital, it was recorded- and were warned of going into other charts for hippa violations etc. Even had it at non- healthcare jobs as they always tracked you thru their systems etc...

The person who said they can't see everything is incorrect. They can choose not to, but the technology is there. This preceeded recent Verint utilization. I'm surprised people don't know this. Just do your work & you'll be fine. Humana machines and connections are for work only. Be very careful of chat; get your teammate's cell numbers for more privacy when you need to talk off record. Heck even then be careful.

Beg to differ with you guys. Yes they can and yes they do and have referenced my idle keystrokes in "wondering what I was doing" when I got up to pee. Also, yes they can record your calls and outgoing calls. Everyone has skype cameras (except older issued monitors). And yes, they are monitoring everything. Sadly, they are using this technology to get rid of and bully unsavory and older employees when it is time to be put out to pasture.

@10fOrj6z-itg You just triggered my BS alert. They can't see all of this. And if you are so worried about your camera cover it with tape and hit the mute button on your mic. They can't see keystrokes either. Educate yourself, don't fall victim to lies like @10fOrj6z-itg

Verint or similar software usually used to cover already happened data breaches. If any such soft installed it means your data already were accounted but now it's official.

You would think that work could be seen by output. You would not think that you had to be monitored visually also. My experience with this company is that if you keep your head to the grindstone you will be fine. Don't complain, or you will be scrutinized. Just take it and deal with it. Previous employee speaking here. If you try to expose the unfairness and question how things are done you are put in the 'trouble' pile and you are stuck there unable to move on, unable to introduce change or explain how you may see things be bettered. Even if you do and present it to your manager it has now become THEIR idea and its lost on you. Tired of promoting others and get no recognition. Too much power in lower management on people's lives. And believe me, there is always someone ready to take your spot. They have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

Humana has always had access to everything we do and type. Every chat and website. It's their equipment.
