Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Introducing 'The Bathroom Blues' - a new weekly excerpt on toiletry conditions at overcrammed collaboration zones

The bathroom at my office in particular only has two stalls and two urinals. Better yet, AT&T only occupies the first of three floors at this building, and unlike the far more luxurious office that we used to occupy, the bathrooms do not exist within a dedicated corridor for AT&T, allowing all sorts of strangers and other undesirables to drop their nasty deuces as they please. Today there was someone blaring some very modernesqe and low IQ sounding rap music from their phone while they took their time in the handicap accessible stall. As I was forced to endure the rotten smell of early morning excrement and the sounds of societal decay while I stood with my eyes closed taking my wiz at the urinal, I couldnt help but wonder if the culprit in question even has AT&T as their wireless service provider.

Yes, my friends, even our own sanitation conditions are not safe from the downward trend of perks of working for this literal smelling p–p hole of a company. Until next time - hold your breath.

I suspect a middle manager in Corporate Real Estate has been told to cut costs and like a dutiful T employee is doing so at the health risk of employees. If you don't get improvement tell you're manager you're going to the local fast-food restaurant for your health breaks. Can't understand how this can happen.

If you can, swing by one of your local pole yards and ask one of the I&R Supervisors for a carton of "brief relief" bags.

Simply slide one of these bags over a 5-gallon plastic pail and you have your very own personal toilet.

If the homeless can’t use your offices facilities they will go on the street. Tell your manager to give them some change and clean up the stench.

I wonder what Randy's bathroom is like?
Does he have a gold toilet or someone to wipe his rear?

And how about those waterless urinals? Nothing like standing in a puddle of urine trying to hit the bee.

You should never p–p at work unless it’s an emergency. So many nasty people leave the stall and walk right out of the restroom. Nasty!!!

If their cell phone actually worked inside a building then there is a significant chance that T is not their wireless carrier.

Bose Noise-Canceling Headphones and some Febreze and you are golden, CRE should have an old dirty office survival kit

Odd.... it’s almost as if they were trying to get employees to quit, in turn saving the company hundreds of millions in involuntary severance packages, benefits and lump sum pension contributions

I’d bet money that in 2-3 years once they have sold off buildings, reduced headcount and paid down debt we are forced out of the office and back into full time telecommuter status

Just bring some Lysol to work and stick it out. I’m pretty sure at this point the best way to get back at leadership is not quitting

Is someone holding a gun to your head to work for AT&T? If the conditions are so bad find another job. Corp has made it clear what they think about employees.
