@@10ZkXCvV-gjy - It means the destruction of a career field: Question for you - What fields of engineering did your kids graduate from? Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical Software, and how happy are they in their field of study?
"A Greatest generation Engineer said it takes 11 years to make an Engineer" and how true that is.
The IT field is looked at as service not an asset to the organization. Has been since the mid 90s. Thank you for the honest comment about IT.

Cracks me up, Verizon always pushing to use our web to customers....you guys keep up the good work....as a CSSC rep...you guys ensure my job security 😂
It means replace current knowledge base with college hires and outsourcing
it’s replacing everyone with Infosys and Oath
Yes sir. Elmer Fudd needs to hunt shanks and not rabbits
IT Transformation is all BSSS until the IT leadership team is replaced.
It means dumbkat and shank in the woods need to go
I don't get it... what does this have to do with the EISP?
So true. Hanky, little brother and the misfits just sit in meetings all day with high priced consultants looking for ideas that will allow them to hang on for a year or two more
Elmar Fudd ignores hanky when he should
Boot him
It means the destruction of a career field. It is just another field of study that no young person should train in as the jobs are to easily shipped away or contracted in. A vicious circle of corporate claims of a shortage of the skillset and a need to import people from low wage countries and fewer and fewer Americans entering the field.
The young kids know the deal. Both of my recently graduated kids are engineers they laugh when I ask if they or any of their friends have interest in an IT job. It is a dead end street in today's environment. Life is to short and there are no do overs. To invest any efforts to securing a job in the field would be foolhardy.
Did someone say eisp?
Outsource and automate jobs. Executives receive their enormous stock grants, while the middle class quietly disappears.
It means get rid of senior people and replace them with Indians and millennials. It has nothing to do with transforming the business or systems. The people in charge have no idea how to do that,
It meant VSP for me.
Our leaders reading scripted words which they don’t believe in.
A reason for incompetent leaders to spend more and justify their ridiculous pay
