AT&T has all the cards but if Randy and Stankey are leading it is bound to fail. They need to be replaced ASAP.
@itfr. You’re the id–t so if one wants 20 channels of home shopping that’s fine. However anyone can get Disney, Netflix, apple, YouTube, and Hulu COMBINED and still come out cheaper than AT&T. Plus it won’t be buggy as hell.
None of these other guys have the same product. Apple and Disney product only worth $5 a month. The biggest competitor is You Tube TV, Hulu +, PS Vue and those that carry live TV from multi-content providers and networks. Apple and Disney don't carry any of that. HBO will only be worth $5. They will charge what the market will stand. Their current AT&T TV. is not even in the ballpark. Not sure they will get any customers. AT&T Now is not bad, but close to the top. I would move if I wasn't getting unlimited internet.

What is Apple streaming going to include though? A few shows produced by Oprah? Their big announcement was a show starring Jason Momoa in a world where everyone is blind. The Disney thing is legit though, with their massive catalog.
NBC and Disney are locks to be a success. WarnerMedia SHOULD be there, but since Stanky ran off all the talent there's probably not going to be a lot of good new content there. It's going to be tough for Apple and Netflix.
To be fair, ATTnow is a full cable replacement & not the same thing as Apple's deal. However, HBOmax, or whatever other streaming product they come up with is in deep trouble. They are helped out a little in that apple is giving away a free year of service with a new device, that does free up some consumer $$ to spend on other services.
And HBO Max probably $18 a month
