I’ve heard VZ is to buy back FT WV at a big discount. Don’t get me wrong....I have no idea why on earth VZ would wantvto do that....it’s just one of the rumors I’ve heard.

WV is stage two of their plan first they are going to buy up Long Island. WV will be bought in early 2021.

@irmo VZ is not buying. Altice is. Did you not see they made a programming share agreement with VZ. That means a sale is imminent. At least that is the rumor.
Buying FT WV would be a poor move. We trashed the infrastructure before we sold it, it appears to be no better, competition has moved in...what would VZ want it for. Certainly not the fiber network part of wireline.
Don't see it happening and calling BS on the rumor.
It's true the French are buying NYC metro wireline. They already made a deal for a news show.
