Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Elliott Management KNOWS what they are doing - here is the proof:

AT&T's long-time investment bank, Goldman Sachs, had their top activism banker Steven Barg poached by none other than Elliott Management last month. This guy knows T like no other!!! .

BIG BIG TROUBLE FOR RANDALL and da BOARD!

Elliott knows what's rotten in Dallas!

It all depends on how Goldman Sachs votes their 54% of shares. Elliots 3.3% doesn't have much weight.

HXO, Corporate boards are all made up of executive types who are all buddies at the golf club who all sit on each other's boards and scratch each other's backs. The point of activist investors coming in is to clean out the barn and put truly independent board members in who will put shareholder's interests before self serving executive interests.

Get ready to jump Randall, you boob. And no, you're not going to be leaving with your golden parachute either. With your incompetent destruction of shareholder value, be grateful if you get any parachute at all.

OP, perhaps you’re right, maybe the board has problems in their future. But out of all the board members, only two are insiders that belong to T, the rest are CEO types, from major corporations from all over....so guess who would replace them?

The Board could care less!
