Is doomed from the start. I can't say I have seen a shining star example that has motivated and led an organization to great success at ATT for some time. Ralph De La Vega had that appeal but I haven't seen anyone close to him in some time. They are all robots doing the same thing over and over. This type of culture inevitably filters down and the lower rungs get pounded for the failures of the upper levels. Does anyone see someone out there higher up that is actually getting results internally or in the marketplace? I thought we would get some of that secret sauce with Time Warner but they are running for the exits. One would have thought you would leave HBO alone as your centerpiece of entertainment and content. Now ATT will be forever known as the company k–led the golden goose that cranked out The Sopranos, GOT, The Wire, and countless other high quality hits. Nice going!

Somebody forgot to communicate all this doom and gloom to the stock market. T is over $36 midday.
That's right, instead of learning from failure and turning direction, they just continue to bear down, with brute force, as if this will lead to different results.
Stupid, stubborn, and arrogant, to the extreme.
They refuse to look outside the company for real leadership and ideas. You know why? Because they refuse to admit they are wrong with the direction they took the company and know the minute Silicon Valley people with ideas get a chance to actually take the company into the future they are out on there asses back to bumfuck Texas.
