That LV handbag & keychain costs more than I make in 2 weeks. And how many of us can afford to go to Belize? What a slap in the face.

Did you hear McElf say don’t listen to -or- look at the online rumors? He must’ve been talking about this site because I certainly can’t find anything out in my “Collab Zone”.

OMG..The best was when they panned the audience and we saw the faces it was hysterical.....whoever was manning the camera really gave us all a glimpse of just how nauseated those in the room were feeling as well....The Execs on the panel wreaked of contempt for one another as their body language and faces could not mask it and really told a story.....

@amj
"Maybe they would actually get some real questions instead of the “softballs” they got today!"

They get real questions. I know, as I have submitted several; along with several peers that I know for sure did the same. These are well written, intelligent, respectful but tough questions that would not be inappropriate for a large group. Tough questions around outsourcing, "Collaboration", etc. Questions that point out some hypocrisy between what they are saying and what they are doing (without using the word "hypocrisy"). Guess what? Have not heard one of those questions addressed over the last year. Not one. Out of every dang meeting from L4 and up.

These 'town hall' and 'open mic' sessions are almost a parody now. It's like watching some 3rd world dictator talking about "the glories of this peaceful and prosperous nation" while there's a civil war going on outside the building.

The damage as far as "job security" has been done. it will linger for a long time even after they stop celebrating agreements (surpluses) to move people out of the company. This is the same generation of leadership that mentioned a while back that no more surpluses for the rest of the year. The distrust will also continue as well. The damage has been done and continues.

The Open very closed Mic was a waste of time. How do you do it with Trust & Transparency? By being honest. By first talking about the two of four elephants in the room and saying this is not the end and that Accenture And Amdocs are the next two wolves that are going to eat ATT. Talk to us about IBM. Tell us how to navigate the disaster if IBM not cooperating on projects where ATT resources became IBM Reassure us that your deal has ensured BAU for now. Tell us project Monies will be adjusted at the back end. And to keep going so that vendors too cooperate. Tell us how many were outsourced. Then explain why and explain the TechM outsource. Don’t leave us with vendor consolidation and cost cut stories which are pure god damned BS! How do you sleep at night? Your kids will kick you!!

Randall Stephenson= old white guy
John Stanky= old white guy
Jeff McElfresh= old white guy
Scott Mair= old white guy
6 out of 7 SVP/P under Scott= old White Guy

  • I’ll stop there as to not give away too much however I can assure you the majority of my chain of command above= old White Guy

If you ever needed proof of the good old boy glass ceiling... look no further. I don’t care how much diversity T claims, it’s all b—s— if the culture at the top is old white guy cronyism

And just in case you are wondering... I’m an old white guy saying this

It’s 2019 people... wake the f— up already

The Open Mic was a joke. Jeff McUseless was thrilled he had kicked out JD. JD had compassion. McHoarder has no ethics. Scott Mair could not speak. He clearly was given boundaries and Jennifer smirked throughout Scott’s talk. Scott should have not time-filled with IGNITEs Radical Candor content. Those of us who had that well known, saw through it! He made no sense often saying At the End of the Day even consecutively four to six times!! Overall a sad unnecessary session which could have added a few minutes to applaud JD in that townhall. They did it for Pam when she retired!!! but JD was kicked to the curb. Jeff McKicker is a jerk. What goes around comes around. He will be kicked one day and as he is ensuring his pocket will be full, it may not be there but far deeper! No one is happy. McJerk does not realize that NOTHING is BAU. Projects are stalled. Green is going red. IBM is asking for more money fir in progress projects just coz resources in them are now IBM. Shouldn’t be so but when did anyone in senior leadership have balls to stop IBM bleeding ATT? TM will too!! At the end of the day, Scott- our 2019 accomplishments are negatively impacted as the strong Q3-Q4 targeted work is stalled!!!

Best part was when McElfresh mentioned collaboration project and they panned to woman in the crowd... she had the biggest “go f— yourself” look on her face and they still left camera on her for what seemed like forever. I seriously giggled out loud in my cubicle.

After listening to the last two open mics, it’s clear to me that honest and collective responses made a difference. This contradicts the recommendation from others that suggest non participation was a better option.

982 people went to ibm, 98.5% of those "offered" positions

Based on head count change for McRotten, no more than 1600 employees went to IBM. That was the net change in headcount; not possible to know how many may have retired, went to another org or simply left. It also does not account for contractors that were sent IBM.

Any general count on the number of people that went to IBM, the amount that went to Tech Mahindra and how many stayed? I'm haven't seen exact numbers and would like to get some idea of the scale.

They should have just said
The beatings will continue until moral improves

I saw t as an example of how they look down on employees
How they know and will, continue until this company is bankrupt and they leave with sacks of your cash - flimflam scam artists moving a pea under a shell

The id–ts actually showed eNPS results, and discussed the negative feedback on Top Leadership and job security concerns. This is 1 day after shipping 100s of people to TechM, and 1 month after shipping 100s of others to IBM. These guys actually think we are all too dumb to catch their lies.

Any time I watch any of these I leave completely unsatisfied. I like my VP and leadership team down (thankfully) but some of these “leaders” need to go. We are here to serve the customer not our own ego.

A complete waste of an hour and a half of my time. Nothing truly accomplished by this meeting except a bunch of egos getting their turns to speak. You could tell Robinson wanted everyone to know how smart and involved she is in everything. She was interrupting others as they were speaking so she could humble-brag. Mair is as polished as a politician. I love his answer about what it’s like to work for Stankey. “He demands the highest results, but he is fair.” Bull$hit! He is an a$$hole! Everyone at Time Warner has learned that, that’s why everyone is leaving HBO and the talent is moving on! You can’t treat those people like sh– and expect them to stay. This meeting just showed us that we shouldn’t worry, because it’s all Status Quo folks!

Audience looked like hostages. Not even sure the presenters believe the c-ap they’re spewing at this point. The entire panel seemed like they didn’t want to be there either.

Did I hear this correctly? you want us to buy vests with ATO flair with the money you just gave us as pay so you can give the proceeds of this back to other "employees in need" so you can pat yourself on the back? How about just set up a fund and match our donations for the employees who suffer hardships? Wouldn't that be more appropriate?

*buzz words galore
*Mair likes Jeff Gordon
*don't get hung up your job description/title
*all profits from vests will go to the "Help Donovan Fund"

the audience faces said everything that needed to be said about the reception. A bunch of b—s— double-speak from people who will never be impacted by the outcome of their poor decisions. "Our mission is to find a way, nobody ever says no".

Felt very hallow... a lot of corporate “speak” for all of them. They acknowledge that moral is at an all time low, but don’t offer any real substance that they are there to change it. All we got was a “we hear you!” Ok, that’s great, but obviously you don’t give a sh– case your not saying what your gonna to do to change it! All we get is ”keep pressing on!” And “it’s amazing what your doing!” Just hot air and no substance. Too bad they don’t read this site to ask us questions. Maybe they would actually get some real questions instead of the “softballs” they got today!
