This is the layoff board. Not an eisp board. Layoffs apply to management... NOT union.
This is not rumor at all! My wireless EISP just came via FedEx special delivery today. Christmas in September! I'm going to buy a new F350 turbo diesel with big tires!
Evidently this offer needs French approval. They are buying wireline. It will take longer than normal to get the offers out.
There’s some big Paul Sullivan manager meeting in Liverpool/Syracuse NY Garage tomorrow....techs were basically told to stay the hell out of the garage.....the late crew were told that their keys would be in the ignitions of their trucks when they came in....told to go to other garages to stock trucks if necessary....maybe we will hear something relevant over the next few days....who knows?
Praying for time added or no go for me...I believe an eisp is coming....not so confident of time being added....we shall see

There will be another VSP in October for wireless. There will be no more EISP. Wireline is for sale.
VSP is for management....and they aren’t going to have another for probably another 15 years....until then, the management VSP will be known as a RIF.
They call the wireless one a VSP 💪💰💰💰

Directors don’t know if there is going to be an offer or not....it’s just their opinion. The decision comes from above them. Directors are told how many people and what titles. The director then chooses locations and the number of people at each location until they reach the number that was given to them.
Omg ! ! Stooooopppppp . Just stuff the money away till 2023 . Get your 401k over a million plus and deal with it in a few years
I am a tech in NJ. We were just told by our Director that there will not be a package at all this year.
No eisp just rumors ,upper managers say they haven't heared anything so it's all rumors..unless the company decides to just announce an eisp and give you 2weeks to make a decision. So people can make stupid decisions and some will leave and then find out that their not ready to leave
OP...I’m interested in any info someone heard also. Eventually people will post when the get around to checking out this site. You have to wade through the comments of the jealous trolls though. If you’ve got enough time with this company to consider taking an eisp, no doubt your financial situation is much better than the haters posting on here. How sad their lives must be to have to bully others (not face to face of course) to find some entertainment. Now, to answer your question I did hear that they were going to come out with an offer in the fourth quarter. Should be announced by late October....maybe earlier...if we don’t hear something by then, the chances of one this year would probably be slim. I have friends in other states (I’m in NJ) that have heard the same rumor.
@OP only rumors at this point, but I doubt there will be an eisp this year..........@awb hahaha you are so right about that!
Ok, guys, this is the weekly eisp post. As soon as I can get the following, we can all move on:
A) at least 10 posts saying in effect, "I'd take it."
B) at least 10 posts saying "Lazy union people begging!"
C) at least 10 posts saying, "Whar is an eisp? Does wireless get it? Does management get it?"
D) at least 5 posts saying "I have $900k in my 401 k, why would I care?"
E) at least 5 posts saying, "I'm so glad I took the VSP."
Let's hurry and get these posted. Truth is optional, and factual or useful information would be nice, but definitely unexpected.
