CWA leadership never wanted this strike. They were forced to call a district wide strike to cover the fact that 3 locals in Miami walked on Thursday due to “unfair labor practices”. If CWA had their way , we’d be working for over a year under the same contract like they did in district 9. Thank you to those brave members in the Miami locals for having the balls to walk even when our CWA leadership initially refused. Most of us members have wanted to strike but CWA is in bed with At&t. CWA leadership is just as corrupt as the company.
