AT&T lied about how much everyone makes , my husband don't even make half of that.
They stand up to their rights if more people would do this Americans could run the country better instead of complaining about it.
The negotiations are a joke and they are turning the other cheek while they make over 47 billion dollars in revenue !!!
So stay strong to these workers that are brave enough to do this strike and be heard!

Well isn’t the “total compensation” kind of the point for going on strike? If this was a non-union company you’d have the pay minus maybe 25% and couple weeks of vacation, no insurance, no paid holidays, no pension and or 401k match. In fact you’d probably be a contractor working all over the country getting temp lay-off every time work dried up just like the construction sector does.
So... complaining about the company including all those benefits that do have a dollar amount seems counterproductive to me.

Instead of trying to play silly with the numbers, why not just tell folks what the average pay is without all the silly math ?

Already said but its TOTAL COMPENSATION not just your husbands pay! Benefits, discounts, life Insurance, spouse life, kids add it all up TOTAL that's the real compensation. What they do is not Rocket Surgery so be glad he makes what he makes. Mess around to much and he will make a quarter of this for John doe telephone installations contractor. He is well pId and you know it quit whining!
They were including benefits in that compensation range. Compensation doesn’t mean salary. It means salary plus all benefits. Truth is medical is going up for everyone , employer and employee costs alike. Thank the greedy insurance and d–g companies.
