I'm not exactly pro strike, but I’m not against it either. I would just like for things to get better at T, but every day my skepticism about that happening is growing more and more. I’ve seen many situations where people go on strike at a certain company and , to be honest, I haven’t seen many things change for the better at those companies. Can a strike really change anything in today’s corporate America?

Management will not have contractors to complete work they are not able to finish. There is not any money available for travel, hotel lodgings or bucket trucks. Get to work you lazy scum ladies.
The only thing it’s accomplishing is hurting those of us in mobility who submitted new orders this week. Y’all m—ers are taking money out of my check.

Not to worry..the company is only deploying managers who are close enough to their strike assignment as to not incur travel expenses. Empty gesture on the part of the company.

I don't think strikes can change today's corporate world. Unions were a good thing back in the heyday when the industrial revolution first started. Sweatshops, forced labor, poor conditions, low wages, disease, death... it wasn't a pretty time back then. Unions helped change that and gave the working man power over the upper classes who typically owned such establishments.
In today's world tho, companies are not constrained by local labor resources. We're not producing clothing, machines, and household goods anymore...its all digital. And it can all be done remotely, either by technical contractors or international employees on the other side of the world.
Show me a 3-day strike that has accomplished something. The company knows the union is not serious and will be back to work on Monday.
i don't see anything changing. At this point, all I see is the Union slows the rate of loosing. Never any increase. In the end the company gets what it wants. Maybe not 100% but it gets closer every time. The Union may slow the hemorrhaging of members by being able to say "At least we tried"
Will not be a strike. Never will there be another strike. Ever.
