No one is safe, never have been or never will be.
the bend over and take it position is quite safe here
They warned us about 2020 years ago. I got my college degree and bounced. The rest of you are on a sinking ship. Gotta take responsibility for yourself and family.
To @10Fe1ADT-1iy; It has nothing to do with my mentality it is the reality?....I would like to compare my degrees (multiple) and ivy league education to yours any day of the week!.....Unfortunately, I fall into the same category of employee ( too many years and multiple kids in college at this time to risk jumping out into the workforce at age 52 until I have to!). However, if I do get "canned" we will do okay as my wife is a physician....Wake Up and keep your ignorance to yourself....
sadly we are in limbo until canned...….
if that is your mentality..then, yeah, its only a matter of time for you. You should have been gone a long time ago. If you are dumb-enough to collect a paycheck, doing nothing, w/no skills...then you deserve what you get. ATT owes you nothing. YOU owe it to yourself, to make yourself marketable. Stop complaining, and do something about it already!
At least we don't have to worry about new products or services replacing current revenue streams.....they will just wither away and die on their own......no more new products, technology or innovation...sadly we are in limbo until canned...….
No. Most every job will be either surplussed, outsourced, sent overseas, or sent to the cloud. It will be dog eat dog.
Nope. Even if you have your revenue stream it will never be permanent. They find ways to marginalize you. This company eats their own.
Nope. Bounce around until you create your own solid revenue stream. Until then if you choose to stay with this company, don’t plan to retire.
