Part of the plan with the union being in bed with the company. Save a few days of wages, come to an agreement later and save face with the membership. Nothing will be gained!

Why strike? I love how unions claim they're the champion of the 8 hour workday. If it wasn't for them, you'd be forced to work 14 hours a week OT, and 6 day's a week. Oh wait a minute... I see what happened.... 8 hours is long gone so they can drop that claim, the new slogan will be: look what we did...... We're tough, we took a stand, you're now forced 7 day's a week.. Enjoy the union benefits!
Management will be required to meet all commitments in a timely manner. You have been trained and will be required to install and maintain Uverse, Pots, Special circuit ethernet, T1’s, Gpon and miscellaneous other Government circuits. If you miss a due date you will be fired. If you can not perform said work you will be fired. Upper management will fire you for not clearing brush on aerial terminals and please do not expect any help pulling fiber or copper drop. You have been warned.

Trust me, those 3days have been agreed to by the CWA and AT&T. It will just be a long weekend saving the company the cost of labor for 3 days in the affected area. Customers will just be put off for 3 days, and work will resume.
Notice the same few general hilariously-uninformed replies to this ULP on the site. That massive debt sure is hitting the company hard; they can't even afford some intelligent trolls to e-scab for them.
- 3 day strike equals playtime.... union members stomping around in circles carrying sticks.... management jumping in tech trucks trying to drive out the yard being blocked by union members... some bending over to tie shoes.... others slapping the hood of the truck and falling down saying they got hit.... some even screaming at the management drivers “SCAB” .... then managers driving out to job making customer contact but getting nothing done.... a few will know what they are doing but most won’t.... Managers will be working 12hrs a day... getting nothing done.... .... day two less union members on the picket line.... and third day even less.... return to work day it’ll be a hustle to make up lost time.... in the end... strike ineffective
