Stankey is the one who screwed up DTV after T bought it. Apparently since he grew up in LA, he thinks he knows the entertainment business inside and out. Stankey is arrogance in spades, modeled after this mentor, Randall Stephenson.

The CoBC is for little people, not the execs. Pretty clear that was the case when they bribed Trump's attorney and some unlucky flunky took the fall for that. Someone should've actually gone to jail for that one.

@-1yhb, you're right, he is a bully, you'd think that being against AT&T Corporate Code of Conduct, would get him fired, but no. Also, i hope to remain employed long enough, to see that jack wagon fall from his disgrace.

Wow what a deek! You can be direct and not yell ya know??? Terrible pick to run things. Can’t even politely communicate. He’d be the same managing a ice cream shop. Stop asking me about our flavors!! Ahhhhhhh!

"The Post reported that after being asked questions by the HBO execs about the new plan, Stankey reportedly told them “I am sick of hearing this! I know more about television than any of you! Stop questioning me."

Just, wow...this guy has always been a bully - it'll be fun to watch him eat a big pile of p–p when he finally gets his even though they'll give him 50 million dollars to just go away. Too bad he's going to drag down everyone else with him.

This is why they paid billions for 2 cancelled shows, because they are desperate for filler. Who in Hollywood wants to go work for these id–ts that know nothing about TV when they can hop onto established production companies and studios not run by wannabe Hollywood execs? T fires the people that actually know what they are doing and the talent ripe for the picking want nothing to do with a telephone company and its hack executives and this goes for all its divisions. We are in real trouble with these id–ts at the wheel.

Who didn't see this coming? Stankey has a long history of moves like this. Get rid of everyone but the "yes men". Can anyone recall one new product or innovation he was a champion of?

The arrogance is amazing. A career telco guy telling career tv execs he knows more about tv than they do.

That type of attitude reeks of doom.

I have seen 3 or so of my comments related to the ATO VB open mic / WFH get removed over the past 2 weeks. Could be because i mentioned "Fea", but is was a favorable reference. I know it may not be okay to mention his name but since Stanley is a public figure of the xo should be no problem to mention his name in a post.
