Thanks to last poster. I didnt know there was zero laws protecting customers safe deposit boxes and they're not safe!!!!
Great, it's all over the web: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dIg8LE7oC0&t=5s
The guy opened up his box through it the years as he was putting new things inside. Until WF screwed up and mistaken his box for another customer's and then closed then stole the contents.
Ya well who would trust a bank to hold their irreplaceable valuables?
How many times had he opened the box when it was owned by First Union or Wachovia? According to the story, none. He has no idea that the contents weren't gone long before Wells Fargo took control. Wells Fargo has every right to sue.
Summary, customer finds their safe deposit box containing valuables were missing and stolen. WF refuses to compensate and drags case into court for years.
They were all stealing mommy. Beat them up daddy.
