Do we know which all departments being targeted in October? So far after IBM announcement, nothing is heard about rest of TechDev future. Would it be a another surplus in TechDev or outsourcing to another company?
Red October for management. All managers will be required to install new service and repair existing. No one is exempt as per upper management.
I agree it is very difficult to come to work everyday as it is depressing and morale which I thought could not get any worse has hit an all time low...Folks have checked out mentally. I am in a job which requires daily and constant interactions with Tech Dev groups and no one is available to work issues, take calls etc. but can I really blame them? After the news they all received last week most are probably still in shock and contemplating their next move.
It doesn’t matter. Plan for your specific situation. Management is only looking after bottomline, they don’t really care anymore about T employees.
Anyone having concrete updates on surplus??
So hard to go to work everyday, do a good job & not get depressed and say why bother. The constant gloom and doom makes for a really bad work environment.
@108OAchk-swh- I am not sure it will be outsourcing first. I expect immediate after Q2 results we can hear surplus announcement.
